Harvest Fest

Harvest Fest is our fall event, held every year in the heart of Downtown Wausau on the 400 Block. Food donations are suggested, benefiting local food pantries stocked by Peyton’s Promise.

This year’s event will include FREE pumpkins for kids 12 & under, 20+ kid’s activities & crafts, a full petting zoo, business Trick-orTreating and more!

PUMPKIN PATCH:
There will be 1,400 FREE pumpkins available for kids 12 & Under to receive courtesy of our Sponsors. A non-perishable food item for Peyton’s Promise is recommended. All children must enter the patch through the tented area. *One pumpkin per child*

PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION:
Local celebrities will be carving pumpkins on the 400 Block stage during Harvest Fest from 11 AM to 12 PM. One winner will be selected, and pumpkins will be available for viewing during the event.

POTATO SACK RACES:
New this year are potato sack races for kids! These will take place on one of the grass sections on the 400 Block. There is no start or end time as kid’s are welcome to race each other as they wish!

COSTUME CONTEST & BUSINESS TRICK-OR-TREATING:
Bring the kids in their Halloween costumes for this event! All kids who dress up will receive special treats. Local area businesses will also be open for business trick-or-treating during the event, allowing kids to receive candy for visiting their businesses.

PETTING ZOO & ANIMALS:
Baby goats, alpacas and more! Bring the kids over to see various farm animals thanks to our local partners.
