Join Wausau Events & Festival Foods as we open the gates to the Wausau Airport for the public to view the 4th of July Fireworks!

This event will be a simple opportunity to enjoy the area’s largest fireworks display with your family & friends. Carry-ins are allowed and there will not be food vendors or beverages on site.

This is the first time that the public is going to be allowed to view this show from inside of the airport grounds. We ask that you please pick up after yourselves so we can allow this event to continue into the future. Trash cans & bathrooms will be available. 

The event will only be moved or cancelled if there is severe weather. Fireworks will shoot off rain or shine! 

The show is FREE to attend, but donations are encouraged to support the 2025 Fireworks show!
